I returned to the game after a break, and was bothered by the Edge mechanic. While I like the premise of gear and circumstances only really mattering if yours are better than the other party's, in practice comparing assets prior to the roll slows down play and feels cumbersome - there's multiple extra judgements to make about every roll.
1.40 removes Edge, fixes typos, and adds specific rules to a couple of unclear situations in netrunning and punk death. I feel the game is now ready for more playtesting.
